Instant pizza

Pizza is commonly eaten hot and, in most pizza parlors, made fresh to order. Commonly, the process of making, baking and serving the pizza in a restaurant takes about 15 to 30 minutes. However, with the help of the ever advancing food technology, people can now enjoy pre cooked pizzas in just a matter of minutes in their own home.

Pre cooked pizzas are commonly referred to as frozen pizzas or store bought pizzas. This type of pizza can be found in supermarkets and grocery stores in the frozen food section. Generally, store purchased pizza is packaged in wrappers, and commonly consists of pre baked pizza crust, with modified cornstarch added to serve as a moisture barrier between the crust and the sauce. This is because producing frozen crust with a combination of sauce can make the crust rigid when reheated.

The toppings are also usually pre cooked and placed on top of the pizza, although there are frozen pizzas with self rising crusts and raw ingredients available in stores. Store purchased pizzas usually need to be reheated inside the oven or in a microwave for a couple of minutes before serving.

Store purchased perfect is especially convenient for those who crave pizza but do not have the time to drop by a local pizza parlor. Simply by reheating the pizza in the oven for a few minutes, one can enjoy hot, cheesy pizza. Most frozen or store bought pizza come in different styles such as pepperoni and cheese, ham and pineapple, vegetarian and many others.

Store purchased pizza are also significantly less expensive than fresh pizza purchased in restaurants and easier to prepare than homemade pizza, though the taste of fresh, hot pizza cannot be matched. Some pizza parlors sell their own frozen pizzas, which you can bake in your oven, that are generally much tastier than commercial varieties.
